DUI PSA Shot in Bartlett

Bryan Cottingham directed the PSA starring the BFD, BPD and actors from Bartlett.

DUI Public Service Announcement Shot  in Bartlett ready for Viewing

Months ago when the Bartlett Fire, EMS and Police Department were filming the PSA showing the real horror of drinking and driving it was hard to envision how the final pieces would fit together. Now, finally the video is ready for viewing and it makes a powerful punch against its foe - drunk drivers.

Bryan Cottingham directed the commercials. Cottingham's son had recently been in an accident involving drinking and driving. He was also great friends with Dave Brown, whose daughter and grandchildren were killed by a drunk driver. Both men had a passion to get the PSAs made.

Spending hours in makeup the young man and woman sat in the wrecked pickup, take after take, while the movie crew worked from every angle. The Bartlett Fire and Police Department and volunteers from all around town joined in the project and helped contribute to the Public Service Announcement being filmed in Bartlett. Shot in front of the Animal Shelter, the Public Works building was used as a home base for volunteers and actors.

So here is the final product:
