Board of Mayor and Alderman Meeting Oct. 25

Our opinion of people depends less upon what we see in them than upon what they make us see in ourselves. - Sarah Grand

The Mayor and Aldermen gathered around Barzano for a group picture with his Key to the City

Perhaps the last photo of Barzano as a Bartlett Alderman in front of the Bartlett City Seal

"It's hard to believe it is actually here. This decision came so quickly and I would like to extend my sincere thanks to all of the citizens in Bartlett who had faith in me, to elect me, and believe that I would make the best decisions for everyone while in the city of Bartlett. I wanted to tell you one thing, that I weighed a lot of decisions and thought out a lot of things, and I always wanted to objectively base every decision I made that would be the best for now, and then for the future of everyone in our great city of Bartlett," said Barzano. "I want to extend my sincere appreciation to the Bartlett Police Department, the Fire Department and our Emergency Medical. These are all world class and we are so blessed to have these services immediately available to every citizen. I can't tell you how many citizens have came up and told me how much their proffesionalism has meant. They are a part of what makes Bartlett a great place to live. Just to live in Bartlett we are all very lucky. This opportunity is something I will remember for the rest of my life. I thank you all. It has been an honor and a priviledge to serve you and I thank you all so very, very much."
